A local dentist from Miami inherits a team of sled dogs from his biological mother, who died recently. Ted Brooks, the dentist, has never known he was adopted. One day he receives a letter from Alaska saying he inherited things from the recently dead mother he has never known. In Alaska, he must learn to ride the team and try not to get killed by the head of the dog group, Demon. In general, I find the movie very funny. Although I liked it, their's one particular part near the end that really should not be shown to younger viewers, that way they would not be able to do that one thing to their own dog or even cat that could kill the animal and the child. If the parents decide to take their child to see this movie, I would strongly suggest that they talk with the child afterwards if they have an animal.
