Hoffman is the center of the "Love Liza" universe as a man with a peculiar approach to grief trying desperately to cope with the loss of his wife. A darkly humorous and plaintive character study, this Hoffman tour-de-force is a curious mix of humor and pathos which will play best people into quirky characters.
