Touching Evil (2004)
Not as good as the original series but its solid effort none the less.

Touching Evil was a British TV series that took a slick, and vibrant look at serial killers and mixed it with a dark edge that actually made it pretty disturbing to look at. The American remake is a good effort in some respects but lacks (so far) the dark edge that made the original series memorable. Jeffrey Donovan is a good lead, and he does play the character with a good dark edge but he lacks the cool mental presence of Robson Green, who was the lead in the original British show. I'm just judging it by the first episode, so I may be proven wrong but so far, The new series is doing a good job in making the transition to the American public, but its not as great or as dark as the original British show that spawn it.
