theater of the absurd

Warning: Spoilers
You have to be over 40, maybe 50, to have seen this, because it has never been released on tape or DVD and rarely shows up on TV anymore. It was a great piece of absurd theater that ends with Eli Wallach tucked in bed between the married couple who are his landlords, eating chicken and watching TV. Yes, it is silly, but then so is Waiting for Godot. Eli Wallach lives in a flooded basement and decides that the only way he can "get" a woman is to kidnap her, which represents a level of common male frustration that is worthy of humor. From the votes already cast, it appears that women liked this movie, but I'm a man and I too thought it was great. Too bad somebody doesn't make it available for home viewing.
