** HERE BE SPOILERS ** Recap: Jimmy Zoole (Guttenberg) is at the end of a disastrous year. His play cancelled, his best friend died, his apartment has been robbed frequently (and his precious book-project stolen), his girlfriend is leaving him and, o yeah, his beloved cat just died. Jimmy is losing his grip on the world. He has a spectacular fall out with his girlfriend, witnessed by his frequent burglar. When the girlfriend has left, Jimmy discovers the burglar, and after some fighting, knocks him out cold. But instead of alerting the police, he ties the burglar to his sink...
Comment: Somewhat odd movie, interesting idea for a story. Mostly a drama with small comic traces. I had hoped for more comedy, and also missed more story about the cat, that made it to the title, but has an extremely minor part in the story. Good effort by the cast, but nothing more. An average movie experience.
