Without a word...
25 September 2005
Warning: Spoilers
This short film lasts all of 5 minutes and 25 seconds... but it was enjoyable for me... in fact, it was a few minutes of the best film I've seen lately.

The ending, and the entire film for that matter is entirely a matter of personal interpretation. With no lines from the actors as clues, this film really does leave you to draw your own conclusions as to if the characters die of not. Personally, I thought the story was a "seeing your life flashing before your eyes as you die" deal, because of the fact the male lead (portrayed by Drew Fuller) was in the skidding truck and standing on the road at the time of the accident. I believe he died, but the girl is still in question for me.

The film is carried by music and the emotions the actors can make you feel... while both actors do an excellent job, Drew Fuller is absolutely fantastic in the way he was able to convey everything he character was feeling and this film calls for exactly that without saying a word... acting without words is, in my humble opinion, a mark of a true actor.

It's wonderful as a short film goes, has great acting, and worth 5 minutes out of a busy schedule... if you're willing to put some thought and interpretation into it.
