6/10
A decent action film...
8 November 2005
Not close to being the best action film that I've seen, but James Brolin, Randy Quiad, and the stone-faced Tom Skerritt give it a nice comedic touch. It will keep your attention, though the special effects certainly aren't dazzling.

Dialogue-1/10 The script writing is absolutely horrific. Every line is a cliché. You'll be able to predict each line of dialogue about a minute in advance.

Special Effects-3/10 Some of the effects are decent, but most are very cheap. There are some pretty cool weather shots, and some nice views of NYC.

Story-7/10 There are a few plot twists that keep it from being your ordinary end of the world action/suspense film.

Music-7/10 The music compliments the film nicely.

Interest-8/10 Again, the plot twists and the sight of successful actors trying to deliver terrible lines will keep you watching.

Star Power-8/10 The cast is full of popular names, many of who have had some success in film.

Overall-6/10 It kept my interest for a few hours, and gave me many laughs. But it's not the type of thing that you can watch every day, or every year. Make it a once in a while thing...
