A tribe who did not want to be bothered in the Amazon when first asked to tell their story changed their mind because of US. They heard about the school shootings here & gave up a LOT to make this movie for US.
Over half the actors NEVER SAW MOVIES OR TV. They made this movie to help us NOT do the same things that they used to do.THEY wanted their story told. WE need to listen.
This movie is the best I have seen in years. All ages and backgrounds are deeply touched by it. Our six year old loved it. Our 21 year old son loved it. All moviegoers we talked to were deeply affected-none of which were the same in beliefs or backgrounds.
The critics gave many bigoted reviews.
This is a MUST SEE movie. Top-of-the-line production & I am picky & a makeup artist. I saw this movie twice & I almost never see one full price-they have just not been worth it. This is one exception. I loved it even more the second time. I have a full review at epinions.com.
