I was so surprised with this movie. Thought it was going to be all clichés and censored to hell. But what a surprise. I have not been moved like this since watching the 1957 Peyton Place.
So raw and honest and true to the original story.Brokeback Mountain will become a masterpiece.An enduring love story. The scenery was breathtaking. The direction superb. The casting faultless. The acting well, one can only say emotional, beautiful, sensitive and definitely Oscar winning performances. Heath Ledger and Jake Gillanhall are two truly rare and beautiful men who dared to have the courage to bring this to the screen. It was shocking,funny annoying but mostly thought provoking and terribly terribly sad. People leaving the cinema each time I went come out misty eyed, including me. Acadamy award winning material without a doubt.Just thank you to all concerned for a wonderful experience.
