Shadowman was a pleasant surprise for me. Along with "Mercenary for Justice", it was quite an improvement over Seagal's last few films.
Seagal appears to be having a good time in this one, is a bit more animated (for him), and there is plenty of action (gunfights, aikido moves) to hold your interest.
Seagal's trademark leather coat is here, along with his Colt .45 automatic. He looks better than he has in his last few films (Black Dawn, Today You Die).
One lame sequence - Seagal shooting it out with a large military helicopter, and bringing it down - with his trusty .45 pistol! The scene where the helicopter explodes was ineptly done.
Definitely a step up for Steven.
