I am the father of a 15 year old aviator, who like one of those interviewed in the movie, looked heavenward in wonder at the age of two and has only wanted to fly, fly, and fly some more since an early age. I loved his passion and excitement for something I loved seeing him do, but, until I saw this movie, never fully understood that true love he exudes for flying. This brilliantly constructed, beautifully scored movie took my heart to the same place where his heart is. I was as emotionally touched and at times completely overwhelmed by the simple message of unabated passion that is 16Right. This is much more than a movie about aviation or aviators. No, this is a movie of a love affair that never ends, in fact, this love affair's intensity grows more fervent as each day passes.
