Does this movie and what has just recently happened in the St Louis area of Missouri seem eerily similar. The older boy who was actually kidnapped looks very much like young Steven from the movie.
It seems to be another copy cat crime from a Lifetime Movie. Remember the movie with Pam Dawber, nurse, C-sectioning a baby for herself and killing the mother. That same thing happened in Missouri as well.
It's sad that people(just need one) get so caught in this stuff and will actually try and recreate these movies in real life.
As in the movie, this boy will be subject to unrelenting terrorizing by his teen peers. They will never understand why he did not just leave, teens won't process it. The real life kid that it happened to today is in for a long long childhood.
