My memories of this show are sketchy at best, as I was only six or seven when I saw it, but I've remembered it ever since.
Specifically I'm thinking of the Inspector General episode, where everyone's excited to have Michael Jackson come to town and his hair catches on fire.
Years later, in the mid-nineties I saw the REAL Inspector General at a movie rental place and convinced my friends to rent it, because it was in fact the funniest movie ever. I was not popular that night.
Anyway, this comment should be a blog post, I guess. I just wanted to share my happy memories of this show, it had my whole family in stitches back in the day.
