The same love will infect our hearts, even if they no longer beat

Warning: Spoilers
The same love will infect our hearts, even if they no longer beat - A shaky, uneven episode that is mostly overruled by some of my favorite scenes from the first season. What keeps me from given it an even higher ranking is the whole demon-drug storyline, especially the lame demon with the 'scary' voice.. Luckily, the rest of the episode does blow me away, I love the relationship between 'Kate' and 'Angel', she still trusts him and partly, wants to be with him. That is, of course, until her father is killed by vampires, then she starts to blame 'Angel' and begins to see him as a monster. But what I most love about this episode were those utterly amazing flashbacks, we got to learn more about 'Liam' for starters as he didn't have a very good relationship with his father. When 'Angelus' got made, the first thing he did was killing his father, but he did it out of love - Darling boy, So young. Still so very young. KATE: No, you don't get to do that. ANGEL: What? KATE: Kill a demon in front of me and then act like we're going to have a cappuccino together. It doesn't work that way. ANGEL: How's it work? KATE: I'm not convinced it does. (9.0 out of 10)
