In the tradition of the ever popular and spooky television series comes the movie : "Twilight Zone", a selection of four short stories presented in much the same manner as the old TV show.
John Landis begins proceedings with a scrooge-like tale about a miserable, ignorant racist who gets a taste of his own medicine. A rather flat segment which needs an ending. Then Steven Spielberg takes us to "Sunnyvale" rest home where some of the elderly residents have a magical wish come true. This one falls short of inspirational, but it's fun. The third segment tells the tale of a young boy whose every wish comes true. A real journey into fantasy from Joe Dante, though nothing special. We finish on a high though with George Miller's scary story of terror in the sky. It's all good fun.
PS Both Dan Aykroyd and John Lithgow are enjoyable.
