I watched this last night. I'm not a fan or a hater of Ms Simpson and would therefore like to think unbiased. After watching the movie my wife told me how badly reviewed it had been, and I was quite surprised - it really wasn't that bad at all. The premise is generic, the outconme is obvious and you'll feel like you've seen this somewhere before. BUT if you're looking for a non-challenging, easy-going, good natured movie to chill out with the then this ticks all the boxes. I don't think the movie was ever intended to be anything more than that so why it has been so savagely slated I don't know. If you watch a movie where you are clearly not part of the target demographic that's your fault, not the movie.
