You have got to be kidding me with these high ratings. Yes, it is very well shot, and does a good job in the beginning of setting a creepy tone. However, for those of you who have never written a screenplay, anyone can present some creepy images and some plot twists along the way, but if the ending doesn't wrap it all up in a sensible way, then you haven't said anything. There's no theme in this movie. The emotional level is lost because you can never really determine what is going on. Not enough information is given for me to really care. Oh, I know there's a twist somewhere, I just don't care by the time I get to it, and it isn't that good anyway. This is highly stylized crap at its finest. I gave it 3/10 because it least it did have some scary moments. Can anyone write a story that has the great ending of something like the Sixth Sense with some scarier sets? That would be a movie I want to see. Can't wait to see the director of The Uninvited try and turn this into something more than an empty shell...
