Short-lived soap opera targeted at a very specific demographic, teenagers, PP is about a young woman with paranormal powers who moves to a coastal New Jersey town. In fact, one of the episodes is a direct snatch from CARRIE, involving a school dance and something dangling high above. Not all that much seems to happen, and the show was gone after only a few episodes. All the teenagers are very pretty, including the boys. Look for two familiar faces playing series regulars: veteran TV actor Grant Show and Dina Meyer of "Starship Troopers" and the "Saw" movies. Unfortunately, the show was so dull, I figured it for yet another one of those endless, cheaply made Canadian jobs. But apparently it was a Hollywood production. Go figure.
