Answers questions, and asks more

Warning: Spoilers
First, the episode does definitively answer the question - did Peter come from the other side. He does.

The episode had an interesting premise. Someone on the other side could pull something from the other universe by merely by pushing something of the same mass as what they want to the other side. With typically gruesome results, the episode starts with someone doing so.

After some analysis, Walter wants to get the one person who can detect where this will happen next back up to speed. This is Olivia, who he experimented on as a child.

The child Walter experimented on was named Olive, not Olivia. Olivia says she has no memory of it. Was Olive a different girl who got switched (accidentally or deliberately) with Olivia in the other universe?

Is Walter fundamentally responsible for this entire rip between universes? If so, was this a byproduct of an attempt to save Peter by getting a new Peter from the other side or was Walter already working in this technology with Bell and used it to get the other universe's Peter when Peter died?

Is there a Walter in the other universe who is fighting to get his son back and is responsible for the bizarre events we have seen?
