Given NBC's history of bad TV lately, the fact that they canceled this gem is especially tragic. The worst I can say about it is that there might have been some stray loose ends, but the the cast and acting, production values, music, writing and pacing were all top-notch. The characters were strong, well defined and very well portrayed, and the storyline revealed just enough at just the right times to keep the viewer locked in.
This show deserved better, but we will look for those involved to lend their considerable talents in other projects. What a shame to see quality work punished, especially since we could see so many possibilities for how it could evolve season to season.
