Double Down (2005)
1/10
A Tour De Force of Epic Nothingness
20 March 2011
Warning: Spoilers
What to say about this movie, nothing really. After watching this I was confused and wondered exactly what the heck I had just seen, and if I had actually watched a movie or just some scenes hastily spliced together. The plot is lack luster, the acting is subpar, and the continuity of the story is simply not there. Changing from one scene to the next with barely, if any continuity. The video quality was below what would be expected even for an independent film. It is apparent that this movie was written as nothing more than an ego-stroking for the write/director/star.

I am sure that Neil Breen had a story in mind at the beginning but somewhere between what he had envisioned to the final product that idea took a turn for the worse. Leaving us with a hollow, unfilled piece of cinematic nothingness.
