With a two year old grand daughter old enough to see her first movie in a theater, this appeared to be the ideal choice. Right in time for Easter, the picture sets just the right tone for the arrival of the celebrated Easter Bunny - colorful, fun and full of enjoyable and likable characters. On my own I don't go out of my way to catch these animated films, so it was somewhat surprising to see how well the state of the art blends animated characters with live action in a seamless manner. You really get to appreciate the imagination of the animators who come up with sequences like the candy factory production line, all very cleverly done. Even more of a hoot was seeing David Hasselhoff and the Blind Boys of Alabama in the same picture; I would have come out on the short end of that bet. As for my date, you know, my grand daughter, it looked like she had a good time, distracted only every now and then to dip into the popcorn.
