The Silence of Bees was a short film by Joanna Perry-Folino. It is about an aging father and his unstable relationship with his daughter who has her own new life elsewhere. After reading the screenplay, the film proved to be extremely different than I imagined. I felt the actors' emotions weren't believable. The actors were trying to hard in my opinion. Also the setting didn't fit quite right for me, although there were good lighting techniques and camera angles. The music chosen was a little too corny for me and gave a false note to the film. This film had a very strong screenplay, but I think it could have been made way differently. Overall I thought it was interesting and pretty good.
