De Force (2011)

Warning: Spoilers
Powerful, unpredictable, dark, with brutal dialogues, this crime flick is absolutely outstanding, far better than I was afraid of to see. Yes, I was scared to watch a crap in the line of LA PROIE, starring Albert Dupontel; this was a piece of sh..., with a predictable plot for the sissies. Here, in DE FORCE, nothing of that. There is an outstanding opening sequence, with a fierce armored truck heist, as I love. Very realistic. I admit that in this film, there are many unbelievable things, but I don't care. The story gives us many surprises too, things we have never seen anywhere else.

The director is an ex con, ex armed robber. He was the screenwriter of BRAQUO, the TV series.

This feature is a painful tale, with no happy ending for the sissies. And, I repeat, no clichés here. But it remains a first film for the director, and it is not flawless.

Go and see it, at all costs.
