8/10
Finale
12 December 2011
Warning: Spoilers
An apt finale for the 2011 season has the three friends dealing with issues that have been exploited during the previous chapters in the series. Jonathan comes to the realization his biological father is a man that is no role model. Ray and Leah must work their domestic issues and George must learn how to cope with a daughter that wants to marry a man as old as her own father!

Jonathan Ames, the creator of "Bored to Death" wrote the last chapter of the season. He is the genius behind the success of the program, which will be sadly missed. It is one of the most original series in recent memory. One must be patient and wait until the new season which one hopes will not take too long and will be renewed. Adam Bernstein directed again the episode that started last week and concludes on this one.

Jason Schwartzman, Ted Danson and Zach Galifianakis have settled by now in their screen characters to compliment each other in surprising ways that are always funny. The beauty of the show lays in the witty writing of Jonathan Ames who rises to the occasion with each new installment. Guest stars and supporting cast did a wonderful job under Adam Bernstein's direction.
