What a catastrophe, was looking forward to watching this, but it is like watching a badly done Norman Wisdom film.
Surely the powers to be must have known this was a disaster, before it was televised. It seemed to have the budget, the stars, shame they had no money for the writers.
What a blot on his career, after "A Touch of Frost" one of the best TV series ever. The Royal Bodyguard is a really dreadful program, with stunts requiring doubles that look far to fit to play an ageing actor, in all a crying shame...........
I do not think after watching the first episode I will bother with the next five. My advice do not watch, and remember him for the other parts he has played.
