The Walking Dead: Better Angels (2012)
Season 2, Episode 12

Only one way to save this show now...

Warning: Spoilers
Speechless. Whole heartedly disappointed. To quote Patton Oswalt's story about an open mic comedian named Dr. Pepper, "I don't know where to start or where to begin." "The Walking Dead" has taken a turn so ridiculous, there is literally only one way I can see the show recovering.

So let's talk about last night (and again SPOILER ALERT if you didn't read it at the top). We arrive back on the farm for a speech given by Rick about the life and legacy of Dale on the group. Dale was a good dude. Dale talked a lot. Dale disagreed with people. We all loved his hat. Yadda yadda yadda. During Rick's speech, we cut to Shane, Andrea, T-Dog, and Daryl heading out to check the security of fences around the farm and to shove a pitchfork or shovel through a walker's head. Within the first four minutes of "Better Angels" there are seven violent zombie kills, preluding the violence of this episode and surely next week's finale.
