Well, there are only two episodes of this new abridged series so far, but those two episodes were incredibly funny, having the best elements of "Yugioh the Abridged series" (Which I always considered to be much better than the original anime)
The (slightly different) interaction between the main characters of this parody is hilarious, and use of cultural references and music it's pretty effective and well done.
This kinda reminds me some of the first "Yugioh Abridged" videos before it became an Internet sensation.
I just hope that more episodes of "The Season 0" get made someday.
