Warning: Spoilers
'Galia' is the name of this film's lead girl, performed by Mireille Darc. It deals in its bottom line with a well-known 1960-s theme: young adults breaking away from the attitude to life they had been taught. Developing their own style & morals, favored by the wealth their parents had created. As well as by the new availability of anti conceptive.

Based on this bottom line, 'Galia' delivers a pretty tense story about a complicated love-triangle. Well told, well acted and well shot, all in a true mid 1960-s style.

Being 27 at the time, Mireille Darc acted out an independent young woman - back then a groundbreaking theme. It provided the definitive break-through in her career.
