Review of Bait

Bait (III) (2012)
7/10
It's definitely one of the top 5 Shark Movies ever made.
3 October 2012
This movie has been in production for quite sometime.I'm usually not big on shark movies, only because they tend to disappoint. The best ones i've ever seen are, of course, Jaws and Deep Blue Sea.

The movie is pretty typical, but, at the same time, very cheesy, but mind you, on purpose. It starts off introducing the characters one by one. They do introduce them rather quickly, only because they want to get straight to the point and story.

Basically it's about a robbery that goes wrong. And then we have the tsunami. The Tsunami hits the whole town and the whole people in the supermarket and kills some people and some people manage to survive. I bet you wish you died in the tsunami, cause now there are 2 very hungry, great white sharks in the supermarket. One is in the food aisle section and the other one is in the car park.

It does indeed get thrilling, cheesy, funny at times. There are attempts at humour, but it isn't really a comedy, it's more an action/horror/thriller. But, again, it is really cheesy at times. Maybe not such a bad thing.

The effects on the sharks may be disappointing at times, but it is better than 95% of shark movies out there.

The acting is good, and cheesy when they need to be. It is well written and directed and it does get boring at times, but then it quickly snaps back into action.

Overall, I say check it out. It's the best shark movie you'll see for a while, so definitely check it out.

7/10.
