Tom Farrell (Tom Cavanagh) is tired of the modern music industry. He loses his record label executive job and girlfriend. He finds young talented singer Wayne and joins an indie record label. His circle of friends include Bran Lowenstein (Judy Greer), closeted jock Jake Dunne (Christopher Wiehl), womanizer Derek "Shooter" Cooper (Larenz Tate), Tom's sister Karen Freed (Katherine LaNasa) and her husband Mike (Jason Priestley). Julia (Ivana Miličević) is Tom's co-worker.
This TV show has a horrible title but that's not all the hurdles that it faced. I love many of the actors in this show. However the show is a bit uneven. One of the big possible problem that people may have with the show is the music talent. I have no problem with them playing up Teddy Geiger as the next great thing. But everybody has different music tastes. And the storyline that Teddy is some kind of musical prodigy may just sound false to some people.
