The Wild Ride (1960)
Why VELOCITY? Well....
26 May 2014
The colorize version of Velocity got made by Roger Corman as a way to re-release the original "B-Movie" The Wild Ride with Jack Nicholson. The original movie was NOT feature length as it was a "B-Movie" an not the "Feature". It was released in the 90's to a soft video market... a 56 min black and white movie would never have been made any money... a colorized "feature length" film showing one of the first Jack Nicholson films ... well it sold and made Roger money.

"How I made 100 movies in Hollywood and never lost a dime" - Roger Corman

There is a reason he was able to start the careers of hundreds and hundreds of top people in Hollywood.

Two notable appearances in the new version "Velocity" are the screen debuts of Jorge Garcia (Hurley from Lost) and Jason Sudeikis (SNL, We're The Millers). Jack started his career in the first, and they got their breaks in the re-mix... It's the way of Hollywood.
