Sometimes we don't need great stars,locations for a good film Filmistan is one such film, it may have a thin plot but the manner in which it combines comedy and drama and also a good message is really applaudworthy. The film has several funny moments which make you laugh,while also there are moments make you moist-eyed, while some make you think too There are times it does get stretched but this are few.
Direction by Nitin Kakkar is good Music is okay
The best part is the film has actors who normally play second fiddle or junior artists in so called big films but here there are given great characters to play Sharib Hashmi who played Srk's friend in JAB TAK HAI JAAN does a great job in his role, he is so natural that you can't take your eyes off him Inaamulhaq seen in small roles in films like Agneepath(2012) is simply brilliant in his role, making you laugh and moist-eyed. Kumud Mishra is now getting good roles, seen in films like Rockstar,Revolver Rani he does a great job here too Gopal Dutt seen in Mujhe Kucch Kehna Hai and Tere Naam is superb too rest are all good
