Unfortunately I hated both. Truth is I was looking forward to these shows. As much as spiderman, as my childhood fantasizes. Is too American a crime? Guns being crude and the way to fight is bare fist? OK maybe throw in a shield and one man can take on the world. OK I can accept that he's an enhanced human being capable of super feats. But the invincibility spreads to other mortals as long as they are on the 'good' side.

OK granted Natasha is capable of super feats due to her lifelong training, the other girls? OK I got use to it by now that some typical American themed shows tend to over glorify women to be 'fair' to them. but just youtube women with guns and you shall see... Bottom line is adding unrealism to unreal combat movies is not helping. C'mon, metal shield vs a millioin bullets? Lets not push it further.

African American hero is compellingly added in. Almost like granting an extra, too much air-time. Lack the art of tastefully incorporating politically correct theme.

Mission Impossible evolved better over the years by being more real. CA can take a bit of lessons from it. But hey, I love the Amazing Spiderman one. All are fiction, but what CA lacks compared to spidy is a good plot, balanced enemies, surviving battles without sheer luck. Guess these are basics some movie makers fail to comprehend after decades. Could it be the original plot itself is so flawed since it was WWII propaganda derived, that there is no way modern geniuses can tweak to make it entertaining? I refuse to believe that, so I have to conclude lack of talent by the movie makers.
