Grave Mistake

Warning: Spoilers
Guy goes in a Diner and says give me bacon, egg and mushrooms. The counterman says we're out of mushrooms, the guy says, okay, give me bacon, egg and mushrooms without the mushrooms. There are grounds for thinking the customer was producer Harry Saltzman, who hired director Guy Hamilton and said, shoot me a thriller without the thrills, so Hamilton did and the result is Funeral In Berlin. Several people here seem to be labouring under the impression that this is not only a good movie but also the best of all the Harry Palmer movies, if that is the case I'd hate to see the other two. What it is essentially is Michael Caine being insubordinate in between a lot of double and triple crossing in both Berlin and London. THIS is a movie?
