Naturally, our "fan" here is a gasoline attendant, a war veteran who has problems, severe problems emotionally. He rescues a brat of a star who basically doesn't know what she wants and brings her to his abode where he begins to terrorize her. To say that she gets what's coming to her is to put it mildly; even though tragedy ensues when her rejected boyfriend and manager try to locate her.
Does it have to take a tragedy for our heroine to come back down to earth?
