Tusk (I) (2014)
7/10
Definitely different, worth a look.

Warning: Spoilers
So, I'm a fan of Kevin Smith and have followed the production of this movie from inception(SMODCAST) to finding a place showing it to see it on the big screen. The Wife, Son(17,) and I, did the research, gassed up the car and drove a reasonable distance. We were very eager, and ready for whatever would be released upon us. First, the story is very different. Not very may walrus movies spring to mind. Or transforming someone into a lost loved one via the creepiest way possible movie. My wife did come up with "Boxing Helena" as a comparison. But, as good of a pull as that was, nothing is even close. So, credit for being so weird and different. All of the actors were good and the overall look of the movie was good as well. I didn't look or sound cheap/cheesy. After the movie the opinions broke down like this. Wife: Did not like it. Son: liked it. Me: it was OK. Now we all did agree that the movie would be far more entertaining with a commentary track and special features, so a disk perches will be in our future.
