I saw Filmistaan on a flight chosen at random, without having heard of it. It was a good choice.
This movie is absolutely brilliant, nothing about it can be faulted.
It is a pity that such fantastic movies do not get the requisite publicity to ensure they become the blockbusters that they deserve to be.
The film is humorous with witty dialogues amidst an underlying serious note. Set somewhere along the Indo Pak border in Rajasthan, this is not just about the mutual cross border obsession with Bollywood movies. That we are essentially the same mostly decent human beings on either side is beautifully portrayed.
