A really fun episode, Jason Segel and Alyson Hannigan are both excellent, as is the always brilliant Neil Patrick Harris.
Plot in A Paragraph: Ted is alone at the bar and sees a beautiful woman sitting alone reading a book. He is contemplating approaching her When Barney turns up, and calls "Dibs" on her, Ted and Barney argue over who gets the privilege to hit in her. After Ted wins the battle, he may change his mind as he soon finds out that she is a friend of an old girlfriend, Cindy, with who their relationship ended very badly. Meanwhile, Robin has had a difficult time trying to get over Don, and Lily and Marshall are trying to have a baby, but Marvin Sr., is a little too involved in Marshall's life for Lily's liking.
We also find out that Ted meets the kids mother at a Wedding where he is the best man.
