where's the credit for David Shore

Warning: Spoilers
There are icons in the TV biz.

Joss Whedon, to name one. His writing with Buffy/Angel has actually been taught in film school as changing the very nature and duration of the story arc. And that was 20 years BEFORE he rescued the Marvel archive like one of their own superheros.

And then there is David Shore. He took what used to be the standard boiler plate medical drama, with antecedents back to Dr. Kildare and The Defenders, and flipped it, reversed it, made it about the people. And made it very very very cynical. "Everyone lies," became a catchphrase.

I disagree with the earlier IMDb reviewer. I see what this series is doing, trying to re-imagine the lawyer arc a la David Shore, and I like it. It does make the story more interesting.

This episode connects because the viewer is as interested in whether the client is telling the truth as in whether the client wins, All that is missing is the honorary credit for David Shore.
