Unconditional (IV) (2012)
7/10
A warm, Loving, Fuzzy Movie
27 April 2015
Unconditional is based on a true story of Joe Bradford. He grew up in a rural part of Tennessee. He developed kidney disease early in his life. Samantha Crawford lived a good life. She was happily married on a nice ranch. She had her horse there too and she told stories and illustrated her life and they later became books. Sam and Joe both help with children in their community. They take them to Sam's ranch for the weekend. They changed kid's life in great ways but the kids changed Sam and Joe also in a very good way. They changed the way they see things in life. I thought this was a good movie but I am more into action movies so I did not enjoy it as much myself. Unconditional had a great story line and I feel that Brent McCorkle did a great job directing it. Brent made it very emotional and really made the movie touch people in a way most movies can't. Joe and Sam where great characters in the movie played by Michael Ealy and Lynn Colin's. They both portrayed there characters very well. I think the director placed the songs in the movie perfectly. He had the right songs in the right places at the right time. The director also did an amazing job making the movie seem realistic. I did not notice any scenes in the movie that I thought where fake or didn't seem realistic.

Everything in the movie was also appropriate for the time and place like the houses where not to new for the time period the hospital did not have too fancy or new of equipment for the time period and the place it was at. I feel like the movie was the right length for what it was. I enjoyed the movie a lot and it kept me watching the whole time. I think the director and the actors did a great job making this movie. I thought this movie overall was really good. The only thing I didn't really like about it was that it had a lot of sad parts in it like when Sam tried to kill herself and when Joe had to go to the hospital. The movie also had a lot of good times in it at the farm with the kids when the kids changed Sam's view on life and the way she acted. I would recommend that everyone watch this movie it was a very good movie. The director did a great job with ending the movie too so you aren't done watching the movie and sad. It is also a great inspirational movie to look at life in different ways and to try new things in life that are good for you and the people around you. I think I will rate this movie a 4 out of 5 because I am more into action movies myself and not much into sad movies. But I also liked this movie because it was very interesting to see how the actor brought Sam and Joe back together and had them both change each other's lives together.
