In this episode we have a familiar plot idea--a nation where they have two leaders--one benign and more favorably disposed to the West and a jerk-face who will stop at nothing to ruin relations with the West (Kuro, played by the familiar TV baddie, John Colicos). The team's mission is to discredit Kuro and thus improve East-West cooperation. To do this, they concoct an amazingly complicated plan (what else?!) where the team is enlisted by Kuro to put on an anti- American play--though when the play actually is performed they have OTHER plans and it involves a nifty little device created by Barney (who else?!).
This is a very good episode--with the usual things that make the show enjoyable--gadgets, weird twists and a cool finale. Among the better episodes of season 3.
