Warning: Spoilers
This is an 8-minute animated short film written and directed by Zbigniew Rybczynski from Poland. Watching this, it is hard to believe that, at the very same year, he was the second man behind the famous Austrian slasher thriller movie "Angst". But back to this one here. Rybczynski won an Oscar for his work here and that's why this is probably his most famous work. Is it his best? I am not sure. Probably not. There is a funny anecdote about him at the Oscars that year. "Tango" was made 35 years ago and it is a perfect example of the director's tendency to bring everything back to its original state at the end, no matter what happens in-between. And here a whole lot happens, actually too much to see and understand it all by watching this film once. It's already difficult enough to keep your eyes away from the blonde in here. If you watched this, you'll know who and what I mean. This film is also a nice memory exercise to keep an eye out on which of the people has not been there during the last loop. Not a great film, but a good one. Thumbs up.
