Unconditional starring Lynn Collins (Samantha Crawford) and Michael Ealy (Joe Bradford) is a story of two childhood friends who grew up in a time of racial discrimination. Eventually they lose contact and fall to their separate spheres of influence, Sam took up children's writing and Joe is a father figure to dozens of kids in an underdeveloped neighborhood. After Sam's husband was murdered she falls into a pit of self despair and attempts to take her life when she heard tires squealing and noticed two children in the road, one of them injured. Sam rushes the kids to the hospital where she meets her old friend Joe who is actually a caretaker for those two kids.
