Lindsay (2014)
4/10
A weak series about a glamorous star
6 October 2016
Warning: Spoilers
This is a miniseries from roughly two years ago starring actress Lindsay Lohan. It consists of eight episodes of roughly 42 minutes each and is advertised as a show that gives us an insight into Lindsay Lohan's personal life. However, I am not too sure if this is really the case. When I watched this, I had the feeling that most (if not everything) of the action was staged for the camera. Then again, most "documentary" series these days are. I like Lindsay Lohan as an actress and I believe she has decent talent, so I really hope she will make a comeback at some point. Many people said she'd be already long dead by 2015, so at least this is not the case. I hope she can control her addictions in the future. If she can, she actually has a good shot at becoming respected and appreciated again by her peers and the general media. I do hope that her comments about how she hates that she is not in films on a regular basis right now are true. Go Lindsay, you can do it. Anyway, back to this documentary show here. I believe Oprah is really the one to blame. This woman leaves nothing to coincidence and I am fairly certain everything that was shown in these eight episodes had to be greenlit by her (including her own cringeworthy appearance) and this is why it is not a successful documentary series. You don't need people like her in your life. Good luck, Lindsay.
