Supernatural: American Nightmare (2016)
Season 12, Episode 4
9/10

Warning: Spoilers
We all know Supernatural had lost its original scary-like, mysterious touch. Well in this episode they seem to try hard to bring it back.

Forget the Season 12 plot(not entirely), "American Nightmare" brings back some creepy-like murders when victims are whipped to their death by something evidently invisible. We also get the old plot from the very 2nd season, the one about special kids, Sam being one of them. Then, out of the blue, it gives us a touch of the main Season 12 plot, which to my taste is some good old cold-blooded, creepy-mysterious Supernatural that doesn't care much about our feelings.

To sum up, for me it was a great episode even if they wanted to make it a filler, it reminded me a little of the old days while keeping up at the same time. The only reason I didn't give it a 10 is because it felt they rushed, trying to mix everything up in 1 episode, not explaining at all how that special kid rose or what's up with that guy(probably MoL) "finishing" the jobs.

Definitely worth watching!
