Fart jokes aside, the repartee in these fast-forward sitcom episodes is funny. The writing about youthful relationships is more intelligent than many comedies of this genre. As someone who lived in communal situations briefly in the 1970's, I was pleasantly surprised that today's millennials can still enjoy the lightness of it.
I'm a big fan of Jonathan Bailey (Sam). I think he is a young comic actor who could have a brilliant career. Phoebe Walter-Bridge (Lulu) was perhaps the weakest link in the cast, in my opinion. Julie Dray (Melody) is a scene-stealer as the pouty French painter, especially in tandem with talented veteran Adrian Scarborough.
I'm not sure I would watch another season. Part of my interest was due to the fresh talent. If the premise remained the same, I would probably take a pass.
