For a show that has Christina Applegate as its lead and award winning writer Cecelia Ahern on the writing staff this show should have been a winner. It even had Mellissa McCarthy in it for goodness sake!
And yet it remains one of those fairly likable comedies, that without a laughter track relies on you to find your own laugh out loud moments. Of which sadly there aren't that many.
The show ran its course across two seasons, but I don't think there could be much public outcry that it didn't go for longer. It's a shame, but the premise itself didn't lend itself to much longer.
