I just can't get into it. For starters it's the animation. This iteration of Scooby Doo doesn't look or feel at all like Scooby Doo. It looks more like, well, like Teen Titans. You know...cheap bucking for comical in an effort to cover it up.
Not that Scooby Doo is historically beautifully animated, it is Hanna-Barbara after all, but it at least always had atmosphere. It always looked spooky.
A Pup Named Scooby Doo looked darker than this.
As a whole, it is waaay to light hearted for Scooby Doo. It looks too bright and vibrant, too much like the Powder Puff Girls and that is exactly how the story comes across as well.
It's a cheapened dumbed down Scooby Doo.
