The Suffering (2017)
2/10
Not a single redeemable quality

Warning: Spoilers
The script for this movie is a perfect example of what not to do when writing a script. Every single line of dialogue is unrealistic. Characters talk like they are reading a book out loud. This is a complain many people have about the book this film is based off. Characters are bland and boring, none of them gives something to the plot. Only small moments from Pablo Rago's character feel fresh or interesting, probably because he is the only person who speaks normally in the film. Direction and Cinematography are disposable, nothing remarkable. Excluding some small details, like Rouviot cleaning his glasses or Paula's lawyer watching 2 dogs having sex, there's no dept or development. The film is just poorly made, the passing is horribly, the main character is bland and passive. Bad, really bad
